Custom-made semicircular cushions in semicircle and D-shape

A straight back and a softly rounded front edge form the typical D-shape. A custom-made semicircular seat cushion is particularly suitable for bay windows, curved benches, circular alcoves, stools, and furniture with an arched front.

Your UNIPOLSTR is manufactured as a complete cushion with a foam core and a matching cover. The width, length, and height (cushion thickness) are tailored to your specific area so that the straight edge fits neatly and the arc follows the contour of the piece of furniture.

Semicircle, semicircular, or D-shape cushion piece

These terms are often used interchangeably. For an exact semicircle, the radius is equal to half the width. Measure the length from the center of the curve to the straight edge. A D-shape can be clearly described in this way.

Individually configure your semicircular seat cushion

Measure the width along the straight edge and then the length from the center to the outermost point of the arc. Add the desired height of the cushion. If the curvature deviates from a semicircle, you should use a dimensioned sketch or template.

This allows your semicircular cushion to be manufactured to fit perfectly into an existing alcove, windowsill, or special seating construction.

D-shaped seat cushion for indoor and outdoor use

A D-shaped UNIPOLSTR is suitable for both indoor and outdoor areas. The cover is waterproof, UV-resistant, and easy to care for. It can be removed and washed for cleaning purposes.

The semicircular front edge looks inviting and reduces sharp visual corners. This also makes the shape interesting for floor seating, play areas, and freestanding seating islands.

Checking the straight edge and curvature correctly

Place a template on the intended surface if the contour is not clear. Mark the straight back, the center point, and the outermost point of the curve. Also check whether armrests, frames, or walls limit the available space.
