Round seat surfaces have a character of their own – and deserve a cushion that truly captures it. A custom-made round seat cushion is manufactured to your desired diameter and the appropriate cushion thickness. This avoids the compromise of a standard size that only "sort of" fits, resulting instead in a UNIPOLSTR that rests harmoniously on stools, chairs, seating platforms, or your own custom construction.

The foam core comes with a precision-fit UNICOVR cover that can be removed and washed. The round seat cushion is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can be used as an individual seat pad or as a recurring design element for multiple seating areas.

Configure round seat cushions and upholstery to fit perfectly

For a circular cushion, two specifications are decisive: the diameter and the height or thickness of the cushion. Measure the diameter at the widest part of the usable surface and it is best to check it in two directions. Especially with handmade furniture or older seat surfaces, a supposedly round base can deviate slightly.

You define your desired dimensions and one of the available cushion thicknesses. From this, we create a custom round cushion with a uniform profile and a cover perfectly matched to the foam core. The cushion thickness influences both the seat height and the visual effect of the finished cushion.

Custom round seat cushions for chairs and stools

A custom round stool cushion brings comfort to small, clearly defined seat surfaces. The shape is also suitable as a round chair cushion for bistro chairs, swivel stools, storage drums, or custom-built furniture. Instead of hanging over the edges or leaving too much surface area exposed, the custom-made product is based on your actual diameter.

A UNIPOLSTR can find its place in the dining area just as well as on a balcony, terrace, or in a garden lounge. The cover is waterproof, UV-resistant, and easy to clean. Small stains can be removed easily; for a more thorough cleaning, the cover can be removed and washed via the zipper.

As a custom round outdoor seat cushion, it fits, for example, on metal stools, masonry seating platforms, or circular garden furniture. We still recommend dry, protected storage when not in use for extended periods. This protects the material and color, keeping your custom seat cushion looking beautiful for longer.

UNIPOLSTR stands for complete upholstery consisting of a foam core and an original UNICOVR cover. Both components are manufactured to match the selected diameter and cushion height. This ensures that the cover fits neatly against the core and the round contour remains clearly defined.

From diameter to the perfect round cushion

Place the tape measure across the center of the entire seat surface and measure from outer edge to outer edge. Repeat the measurement at a 90-degree angle. If both values match, you can use the diameter directly. If there are deviations, the smaller usable dimension should be taken into account or the contour should be checked more precisely.
