Engineering meets craftsmanship: Perfection that pays off.

As engineers with a passion for functional solutions, the idea for our company was born during our university studies. A supposedly cheap flight turned into an expensive experience back then because our hand luggage did not exactly meet the (dimensional) requirements – and suddenly high fees were due. We realized: many people are familiar with this problem. Again and again, we heard from friends and fellow travelers who were also surprised by disproportionate additional costs. We thought: Traveling should be relaxed – without any nasty surprises. The focus should be on beautiful experiences, people, and joy, not on baggage regulations or extra fees. So, we developed a solution that allowed everyone to travel stress-free and optimally equipped.

Perfectly fitting solutions – for on the go and at home

What started with hand luggage for travel, we have expanded step by step to other areas. Today, our custom-made portfolio goes much further: Under UNICOVR, we create individual covers, hoods, and tarpaulins, separate upholstery and cushion covers, shade sails, outdoor curtains, as well as custom bags and transport solutions. With UNIPOLSTR, we additionally offer complete custom upholstery with foam cores and matching covers for indoor and outdoor areas. Despite this growing variety, the basic idea remains the same: technically sophisticated products that fit their intended purpose and specified dimensions as precisely as possible.

With our technical background and expertise, we have fundamentally rethought the manufacturing process of a traditionally oriented industry from the ground up and designed it to be lean from the start. In addition to genuine craftsmanship, we rely on a combination of applying lean production methodologies and intelligent automation for faster, more cost-effective, and more flexible production. Our experienced employees contribute decades of textile knowledge and a trained eye for every detail. Ultimately, this allows us to manufacture every piece efficiently, precisely, yet uniquely – tailored to each individual order. The result: individual custom-made products at fairly calculated prices – without compromising on quality or responsible standards. Staying affordable is a challenge, but as we demonstrate, it remains feasible through consistent process optimization in the spirit of the leanest possible production. And instead of investing in expensive marketing campaigns that would ultimately increase the price for our customers, we will continue to put our energy into smart processes and the continuous development of our products. Our focus is on tangible product quality, clean construction, and solutions that really work in everyday life. When developing products and tailoring them to their respective purpose, we pay attention to a precise fit, robust materials, and a design intended for long-term use.
