Keep the area manageable, plan for accessible connections, and define clear thresholds for taking it down. Vehicle walls and makeshift poles are not automatically reliable attachment points.

Choose material based on intended use

HDPE is suitable for airy shade and allows rain to pass through. Waterproof polyester can protect lounge areas during a shower if the slope and drainage are set up correctly. Clearly communicate to guests that heavy rain and storms may require timely dismantling.
