In regular-shaped courtyards, a rectangle makes good use of the space. A trapezoid can accommodate sloping walls, while a triangle can shade a single seating area. For L-shaped areas, two simple sails often provide a better result than one large custom shape.
UV-resistant sun protection for heat and wind
HDPE remains air-permeable and is suitable for shaded, well-ventilated seating areas. Waterproof polyester is an option if rain protection is also desired. In both cases, the fabric dimensions, tension, and anchor points must match the area; in windy conditions, the sail should remain accessible.
Custom production for hotels, taverns, and restaurants
Table groups, service paths, and entrances determine the sensible layout of the sails. Several custom-made fabrics can shade different guest areas without covering the entire terrace. For hotels, pool and lounge zones can also be planned separately.
Solving large and angular areas with multiple sails
Especially on expansive properties, a single large sail is not automatically the best solution. Multiple rectangles, trapezoids, or triangles can be measured more clearly and assigned to different mounting heights. A numbered sketch prevents confusion.
