The roof, in particular, is hit hardest by these elements. Our custom UNICOVR caravan roof cover acts like a protective coat over the most exposed surface of your vehicle, without completely obscuring your windows, doors, and side walls.

Instead of a universal tarp that is too short, flaps around unnecessarily, or covers the entire body, you will receive a caravan roof tarpaulin made to your desired dimensions. This allows you to determine exactly how much overhang the roof protection tarp should have at the front, rear, and sides.

Custom-made Winterproof Roof Tarpaulin for Caravans and Trailers

Caravans differ in more than just length. Roof width, curves, attachments, and the desired side overhang also vary. That is why we manufacture your caravan roof cover according to the finished dimensions you provide.

The tarpaulin specifically protects the caravan roof while keeping the sides accessible. This is especially practical for seasonal and long-term campers who want to continue accessing their caravan without having to remove a complete protective cover every time.

Waterproof Motorhome and Caravan Roof Protection against Rain, UV Radiation, and Dirt

For the caravan cover, we use tear-resistant polyester fabric with approx. 200 g/m² and a triple PU coating. The material is waterproof, UV-resistant, and flexible. It protects the roof during long periods of storage from rainwater, dust, leaves, bird droppings, tree sap, and intense sunlight.

Custom-made instead of imprecise universal sizes

Waterproof, triple PU-coated polyester

Approx. 200 g/m² – robust yet easy to handle

UV-resistant for regular outdoor use

Tear-resistant and easy to clean

Reinforced edges

Optional with metal eyelets and matching fastenings

Caravan Roof Tarpaulin instead of a Complete Protective Cover

A full caravan cover usually encloses the entire vehicle. Our roof cover is intentionally focused on the top surface. This keeps the door, windows, service hatches, and maneuvering handles accessible. At the same time, it protects the area where rain, dirt, and leaves collect first.

The roof tarpaulin is suitable for caravans, campers, camping trailers, and similar parked recreational vehicles. It is intended exclusively as a cover while stationary and must be completely removed before every trip.

How to Properly Measure a Caravan Roof Cover for Winter

You order the finished outer dimensions of the tarpaulin: length and width. First, measure the roof area of your caravan that needs protection. Then add the desired overhang for the front and rear to the length, and the desired overhang for both sides to the width.

Example: If you want the tarp to hang over by 30 cm at the front and back, and 30 cm on both the left and right sides, add a total of 60 cm to the roof length and 60 cm to the roof width.

Consider roof vents, chimneys, solar panels, antennas, and other attachments. Sharp edges must be padded. The tarp must not put any roof vents or sensitive components under tension. If you are unsure, you can send us a sketch and photos of the roof.

Secure Fastening and Preventing Water Pockets

The roof protection tarp should be fastened evenly and without excessive tension. Depending on the version, metal eyelets, pull cords, or suitable tension straps can be used. Fastenings must not chafe against sensitive window edges.

Only cover your caravan when it is clean and dry. Ensure there is sufficient slope so that rainwater can run off, and check the tarp regularly. Standing water and large snow accumulations must be removed promptly. Please also note: The material is not padded and is therefore not offered as a certified hail protection tarp.

Ideal for Seasonal Pitches, Winter Storage, and Long Standstills

Whether on a campsite, next to your house, under trees, or in winter storage: the weatherproof and winterproof custom caravan roof cover makes maintenance easier and keeps coarse dirt off your roof. When the first trip calls in the spring, the season starts with anticipation rather than hours of scrubbing.

Would you also like to protect the hitch, overrun device, and jockey wheel mechanism?
