solarpanel-tasche-nach-mass-aus-unicovr-plane
Custom-made solar panel bag made of UNICOVR tarpaulin

Custom Solar Panel Bag – a bespoke bag for your foldable solar module

Foldable solar panels have become an integral part of many camping, van, and outdoor setups—whether it’s a 100-watt module for the balcony on the go, a larger folding module for a motorhome, or a portable panel for your next trekking trip. The problem: a suitable bag is rarely included, or the provided sleeve only lasts for a few trips. With a custom-made solar panel bag, you receive a solution tailored exactly to your model—robust, weather-resistant, and ideal for the transport and storage of your solar module.

Bespoke bags for every solar panel model

Foldable solar panels differ significantly in size, folded dimensions, and thickness—from compact 60-watt modules to large-format 200-watt panels with multiple segments. An off-the-shelf bag rarely fits well. With us, you simply provide the dimensions of your folded panel, and we manufacture the bag to fit perfectly. This way, it is tight enough that nothing shifts, but loose enough that the panel can be inserted and removed without difficulty.

Protection for sensitive solar cells and connections

The cells and cable connectors of a foldable solar panel are sensitive to impacts, scratches, and pressure points. In a snug-fitting bag, the module is stored protected and secure, instead of sliding around loosely in the trunk or storage area. This significantly reduces the risk of cracks in the cells or damaged connectors.

Practical for camping, vanlife, and outdoor trips

With sturdy carrying handles and an optional adjustable shoulder strap, the bag is comfortable to carry—whether to your pitch at the campsite, a mountain hut, or simply from the vehicle to your setup location. You no longer have to balance the panel loosely under your arm or wrap it in an improvised blanket to protect it from scratches.

Clean and space-saving transport in your vehicle

In a motorhome, van, or trunk, storage space is usually limited. A custom-fit bag can be stored neatly without the panel bumping into other equipment or leaving scratches on furniture and trim. The robust tarpaulin material also provides protection against dust, dirt, and moisture that would otherwise accumulate on the module.

Space for accessories like cables, charge controllers, or stands

In addition to the actual solar panel, you often need accessories close at hand: connection cables, MC4 adapters, a charge controller, or a small folding stand. We can equip the bag with additional compartments or inner pockets so that everything is stored in one place and you don't have to search when setting up.

Robust material for outdoor use

We use tear-resistant, water-repellent UNICOVR tarpaulin, which is made for outdoor use. The material keeps moisture away from the panel, can withstand the occasional scrape on frame edges, and remains dimensionally stable even with frequent packing and unpacking. Exactly what a solar module needs when it is regularly used on the road.

Reliable protection against wetness and moisture

A damp or wet solar panel should not be packed unprotected, as moisture can penetrate connections and cable transitions. The bag safely encloses the module and keeps rain and splash water away if the panel is folded outdoors or in changeable weather.

For different panel sizes and folding types

Since every bag is custom-made, it does not matter whether you own a small folding panel for your backpack or a larger module for permanent installation on a camper. We adapt the cut, closure, and carrying options to the respective size so that the bag truly fits your panel and not just approximately.

Protection during off-season storage

Even when the solar panel is not used for a longer period, it needs a suitable storage place. Packed in the bag, your module is protected from dust, moisture, and scratches in the shed, basement, or attic and remains ready for use as soon as the next trip starts.

Take along on trekking tours, campsites, and festivals

Thanks to sturdy carrying handles and the option to add a shoulder strap, the bag is easy to take along—for a weekend at the campsite, to a festival site, or to a remote cabin in the woods. The panel stays in one place together with its accessories, instead of being scattered throughout your luggage.

Replacement for missing or worn-out original packaging

Many foldable solar panels are sold without a bag at all, or the included sleeve lasts only a few uses before the zipper or seams give way. With a custom-made product, you get a durable alternative that withstands significantly more than most standard solutions.

Custom-made instead of a compromise

Instead of making do with a bag that only fits approximately, or transporting the panel entirely unprotected, a custom-made solution is worth it. You receive a bag that is precisely tailored to your model—in terms of size, compartments, and the type of closure.

Custom solar panel bags for your next trip

Whether for everyday vanlife, weekend camping, or self-sufficient power supply on a trekking tour—with a custom-made solar panel bag, your foldable module is always neatly packed, well protected, and quickly ready for use. Give us the dimensions of your panel, and we will manufacture the matching bag for it.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0772/3686/3325/files/solarpanel-tasche-nach-mass-unicovr-plane.jpg?v=1785003571
